As we step into this new season at New Day, I want to invite you into something that\u2019s going to shape not just how we work, but how we lead.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A lot of us, myself included at times, can drift into thinking like this:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI don\u2019t have enough time.\u201d
\u201cI\u2019m just trying to keep things running.\u201d
\u201cI don\u2019t feel equipped to develop others.\u201d
\u201cI\u2019m not even sure where to start.\u201d
\u201cI\u2019ve already got too much on my plate.\u201d
\u201cHonestly\u2026 I can just do it faster myself.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
If you\u2019ve ever thought one of those, you\u2019re human!
And chances are, many of the people around you are feeling it too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
But here\u2019s what I\u2019m learning, and what I want us to grow into together:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
What if this whole idea of development is actually simpler and more natural than we think?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It\u2019s not about adding a bunch of extra work to your plate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It looks like inviting someone into what you\u2019re already doing instead of doing it alone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Letting someone else take a step, even if it\u2019s not perfect yet. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Coaching instead of controlling. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Slowing down just enough to bring someone with you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n At New Day, we don\u2019t just want to build ministries, we want to build people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Because at the end of the day, it\u2019s not about what we accomplish, it\u2019s about who we develop.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Here\u2019s the honest reality: But if we do: Our leadership multiplies. Our influence reaches further than we ever could alone. And what God is doing here continues, not just through us, but through the people we raise up across every New Day location now and in the future. Isn\u2019t the EXCITING!<\/p>\n\n\n\n So as we step into this leadership pipeline together, here are three things I want you to hold onto<\/p>\n\n\n\n We\u2019re not asking you to be perfect at this. It\u2019s about making small, intentional shifts in how you lead every day.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
<\/strong>If we don\u2019t develop others, our impact stops with us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n
<\/strong>We don\u2019t accidentally multiply leaders. We choose it again and again in how we lead people.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
<\/strong>Adding people helps us get through today.
Developing people builds something that lasts beyond us.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n\n
<\/strong>Real success isn\u2019t just doing more, it\u2019s raising up leaders who raise up leaders who raise up leaders.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
We\u2019re asking you to start looking for one person you can bring along with you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n
